Since Versailles is such a small town, there’s only one dog park in the area. The Woodford Dog Park is nothing short of perfect. The park is a giant stretch of fenced-in land covered in fresh, lush grass. The park has plenty of space for your dog to run and play and plenty of seating for you while you relax. It also has plenty of amenities including doggie poop bags and water bowls. Wanna know what the best part is? The park is completely off-leash! You and your dog will have a pawsome time at the Woodford Dog Park!

At a mere 13-mile drive from Versailles you will find the populous city of Lexington, Kentucky. Lexington is home to four dog parks: Masterson Dog Park, Cold Stream Dog Park, Wellington Dog Park and Kentucky Horse Park. Each one of these parks has something different to offer. Furthermore, the parks are so close together you could even visit each and every one of the parks in one day! If you love your dog -- and we know you do! -- drive fifteen miles from your home in Versailles to Frankfort. Frankfort is home to one wonderful dog park, East Frankfort Bark Park, and one very dog-friendly distillery, Buffalo Trace Distillery. The East Frankfort Bark Park has plenty of agility training equipment for your dog as well open land to run around play in. The distillery offers a pet-friendly distillery tour complete with drinks! Make your way to Richmond, Kentucky, a town located nearly 40 miles from Versailles. This small town is home to one dog park, the Judy Rains Memorial Dog Park at Lake Reba. This completely enclosed dog park has everything you and your dog could ask for. It has lush green grass, water fountains and a retired fire hydrant for dogs to play with! The park also has a path down to the lake for dogs and their owners! Furthermore, it is often frequented by Richmond residents, so you and your dog are bound to make friends with the local regulars!
