East Lexington
Home to one of the best dog parks in the area, East Lexington is nothing short of picturesque. It is in East Lexington that you will find the Masterson Station Dog Park. This huge dog park has plenty of areas where your dog can run and play. It is also a very pawpular park, making it an ideal place for your dog to socialize and make new furry friends. In addition, the park has plenty of amenities for dogs and their owners. There is no shortage of of shade, water and places to sit. You will definitely have a pawtastic time at the Masterson Station Dog Park!

North Lexington
Although Central Lexington does not have any dog parks, there are still parks where you can spend time with your dog. Head to McConnell Springs where you will find one of the most beautiful parks in Kentucky. McConnell Springs is nothing short of exquisite. It has plenty of beautiful natural views, trees and flowers. Many Lexington residents frequent this park on weekend mornings where they often see other animals such as deer. Unfortunately, this is not an off-leash park so you will have to take a leash while you walk around the park. You are guaranteed to have a pawsome time!

Central Lexington
Central Lexington is home to not one, but two locations where you can take your dog. First, head to the Legacy Trail. This no-frills location is one of the best places to take your dog for a walk or run. This park is basically a long, beautiful and scenic trail where you and your dog can get plenty of exercise. After that, head to the Botanical Gardens of Kentucky, also called the University of Kentucky Arboretum. Unlike other botanical gardens in other cities, the Kentucky Botanical Gardens allow dogs on leashes to explore. This makes it the pawfect place to walk your dog. Trust us, you will have a furtastic time with your dog at the botanical gardens.

South Lexington
South Lexington is home to one of the best dog parks in all of Kentucky: Wellington Dog Park. This park has more than enough of room for dogs to play, run and relax. The park is divided into zones: one for big dogs and the other for small dogs. It also has plenty of seating for doggie owners so you can relax, read a book or enjoy some snacks while your most loyal companion makes some new furry friends. When you’re done at Wellington Dog Park, head to Kirklevington Park. This is not an off-leash park but it is a wonderfur place to walk your dog.

Southwest Lexington
Sometimes all you need is a no-nonsense dog park. Southwest Lexington is home to Jacobson Dog Park. It is an extremely impressive dog park with two gigantic areas: one for small dogs and one for big dogs. Furthermore, the park is very well-maintained and the lush green grass is always kept manicured. The park also has lots of places for pet owners to sit and relax. Your dog will not be the only one that will make friends at the Jacobson Dog Park. Lastly, feel free to leave the leash at home as you will not need it at Jacobson Dog Park!
