Arrington did a wonderful job with both. I'm by eighty four pound border collie mix dog and my three pound teacup yorkie that was very shy to go with him initially. Aaron was very nurturing with him to ease his confidence. He gave both dogs a good, thorough walk.

City Center

City Center

Luckily for you, there is a park situated right in the center of Stamping Ground. Although this is not a dog park, it is a large open space where you and your pooch can play come rain, shine, or even snow. Head to Buffalo Springs Park, the only park in Stamping Ground. This park is often full of people with pups and children, so you and your pooch are likely to make a friend or two. Just remember this park is not a dog park, so you will need to take your own doggie poop bags, water, and leash.

Indian Hills

The drive to Frankfort, KY will take you approximately twenty minutes, which is definitely worth it. The first neighborhood you will enter is Indian Hills, home to two major parks. The first park you need to check out is Lakeview Park, which is full of soccer fields, skating areas, and other sports facilities. When you're done there, head to Cove Spring Park. City Center

City Center

Nearly twenty minutes away from Stamping Ground, you will find City Center, located in the middle of Frankfort, Kentucky. This neighborhood is home to Leslie Morris Park at Fort Hill. This park is unlike any other you will ever visit. It has two Civil War period forts, a museum, and many historical activities. Your pooch will need to be leashed at all times while in the park. Also, take your own poop bags and water. Consider making your trip a family affair so your pooch can get some fresh air while your family learns a little bit about Civil War history.

Kentucky State U

Kentucky State U

Another great neighborhood to visit is Kentucky State U in Frankfort, Kentucky. This neighborhood is home to two parks, one of which is a dog park! First, head to East Frankfort Park, home to a bark park. This park has nearly fifty acres of lush, green land with many amenities, sports fields, and plenty of games. Plus, your pooch won't even need a leash to explore it all! When you're done there, head further into the city to Capitol View Park. This park, unlike the other, is more natural and sits on 150 acres of land. It has many hiking and walking trails for you and your pup to enjoy.
Burton Pike

Burton Pike

Although there are no dog parks in Stamping Ground, there is a dog park only fifteen minutes away, in the neighborhood of Burton Pike in Georgetown. The Scott County Dog Park is a bare bones dog park which is completely fenced in so your pooch can run wild and free. There is only one section in the park -- no separate areas for big and small dogs. The park doesn't have any toys or agility equipment, so be sure to take your own. However, since it is the only dog park in the area, you and your pup are likely to see some regulars and even make a friend or two!
