Grab Fido and head out to the Haleakala National Park for a fun day out. This subtropical rainforest is great to explore with your furry pal by your side, but make sure to pay attention to signage and keep Fido on leash while you are out at the park. Your pup will love seeing all the natural wildlife, some which can only be found in Hawaii, and exploring all the new areas that you will visit. The coolest thing about this park is its on a dormant volcano. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you, and don't forget to bring clean-up bags.36

Waipoli Road
Head over to the Kula Forest Reserve for a good day of hiking and exploring with your furry pal. The Waiakoa Loop Trail goes throughout the reserve and is perfect for a good day of exercise for you and Fido. The 3.5-mile trail is a loop route with a 1,213-foot elevation gain. The hike will take you through the forest where you and Fido will see a lot of natural wildlife, so make sure to keep your pup on a leash. There are a few benches to sit on and relax during the middle of the hike, but make sure to bring plenty of water with you.24

If Fido is looking for a nice relaxing park to visit for a fun day out, head over to the Harold Rice Park. This 3.8-acre park offers great amenities for you and your pup to enjoy, including restrooms, water, and a picnic area. If you both want to enjoy a picnic together, the park does offer a few BBQs as well. The park is filled with a ton of open green space that Fido can run around on and get a good game of fetch in as well. Hana
Head out to the Ke'Anae Valley Lookout Park for an amazing adventure with your furry pal. The park will take you on an awesome hike on a paved trail. When you finish the hike, you will get a beautiful view of the ocean and a nice spot to rest along the way. While hiking, you will go through a forest that is filled with tall eucalyptus trees, providing plenty of shade for the two of you. Make sure to bring plenty of water and clean-up bags with you, and note that if it is raining, the trail can get pretty wet and muddy.
