90 minutes from central Haiku, off the eastern coast of the island, is the Hanawi Natural Forest Reserve. While this park seems far away, it just takes a while to make your way through the mountains and forests in between the town of Haiku and this wild natural oasis. Your dog will be all bounce when she sees her harness come out for a hike through this reserve. Just be sure to stay on the marked trails and clean up after yourself and your pup as you make your way through the park. Don't forget lots of clean drinking water!36
