Nasa Pkwy
East NASA Parkway is home to Webster’s only off-leash dog area. Though The Falls Dog Park is very small, it would still be a huge faux-paws not to visit! Doggy-doo bags and trashcans are provided, but be sure to bring your own water! This very pooch-oriented neighborhood is also home to two dog friendly eateries, Ca Ce Phin Vietnamese Cafe and 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza, both of which welcome canine companions at their outdoor tables. But far and away the biggest draw of East Nasa Parkway is the fabulous Bark’Tisserie Pet Bakery! This locally owned pet bakery really shoots for the moon with its delicious homemade pet treats. Whether you pick off the shelf or opt for made-to-order, you’re sure to find something to put stars in your pup’s eyes!36
Nassau Bay
Nassau Bay is only a three-mile drive from Webster, and boasts some truly splendid scenery. Located at the upper end of Upper Bay Road, Lake Nassau Park is nestled between the lake and Clear Water Creek. It also has its own furrific dog park, with a separate area for large and small dogs. Water and doggy-doo bags are provided, and there’s plenty of seating for tired owners, but be sure to bring your own toys for a spirited game of catch in the shade! Lake Nassau Park also has a short gravel walking trail for a more sedate, leashed walk.24
Bay Area
The mutts-visit Bay Area Dog Park is located in Houston’s Baytown neighborhood, just twelve minutes away from Webster. The off-leash dog area is huge and well-shaded, and there are separate runs for large and small dogs, so your pooch has plenty of space to tire themselves out no matter their size. The park provides water and bags, and there’s an area to rinse your pup off if they get muddy. Around the perimeter, you’ll find plenty of covered and uncovered seating areas, so you can take a break if you feel like your furry friend has been walking you!12
Clear Creek Shores
The Bark Park at Countryside in Clear Creek Shores is a five-mile drive from Webster, and you’d need to be barking mad not to give it a visit! The park has a landscaped doggy obstacle course consisting of a series of tunnels and hills -- just the thing your pup needs to get a thorough and entertaining workout. The facilities are also fantastic, with two large, separate areas for large and small dogs, water, waste bags and a rinsing station. While you’re in the area, why not take a walk along the Boardwalk Trail in Challenger Seven Memorial Park? The two-mile trail meanders along Clear Water Creek, and welcomes pets on-leash.
South Pearland
The town of Pearland is home to the Independence Dog Park, a lovely little spot thirteen miles from Webster. Like the Bark Park at Countryside, this park contains separate areas for big and little pups, and a well-thought-out obstacle course that's sure to get your pup’s tail wagging. Unlike the Bark Park, however, the Independence Dog Park does not have a rinsing area, so it’s best to be careful after heavy rain! There are restrooms for owners around the edge of the park, and plenty of doggy bags available on-site, but be sure to bring your own water.
