Mill Valley

Hiking through Valley Mill Park in the Mill Valley neighborhood is a great way to let Fido exercise and enjoy the sunshine. The 12-acre park offers lighted tennis courts so you can walk through the area at night after work. The Purple Trail goes through this section of the park allowing you to add miles to your hike when you and Fido are feeling energetic. Get your heart pumping and help your pup stay in shape with a game of frisbee, then take a break and relax while lapping up some cold water. Bring your own waste disposal bags and make sure to clean up after Fido.

Park Terrace

Traipsing through the 25-acres of W.J. Thomas Park in the Park Terrace neighborhood is a furtastic idea for you and Fido. The park features lighted areas where you can walk your pooch early in the morning or later at night. The restroom facilities are perfect if you are planning to spend the day frolicking in the grass and socializing with puppy friends. Plan to bring some kibble for you and your pooch, and enjoy a picnic or BBQ in the shade. Fresh water is available near the picnic area when Fido needs a drink after an energetic game of fetch.

Wellington Run

Four acres of divided grassy areas create a furtastic atmosphere for large and small dogs at McInnish Dog Park in the Sandy Lake neighborhood. A small area is reserved for pups 30 pounds or less, and a larger section is perfect to let large dogs run at full speed and frolic with their puppy pals. Puppy parents will especially enjoy the picnic tables in the shade, water fountains where your pooch can cool off and get a drink, and complimentary waste bags and disposal area. After Fido has let off some energy – walk over to the scenic pond where your pup can frolic on the small splash pad and cool off on a hot summer day.

Rosemead Heights

Puppies adore the spacious fenced areas at Rosemead Dog Park in the Rosemead Heights neighborhood. Areas are available for both large and small pups, so if your little pooch is terrified of big dogs, she will feel safe in this park. You can sit down and socialize with other puppy parents on the shaded benches or picnic tables while your pup frolics with the other neighborhood dogs. If your pooch likes to dig, you will need to fill in the holes before leaving, and always remember to clean up after her with the complimentary “poop” bags and disposal station.
