Peninsula Park
Thornberry Dog Park is a massive 11-acre park that is something to bark at. It is divided into three large areas. There is a small dog area. There is a doggy playground for dogs of all sizes to share. Then there is Emma’s Running and Training Ground. This is where you can practice some new tricks with Fido or let him show off his existing ones. If that isn’t enough, there is a pond in the middle of the park, with one side designated for swimming. Fido will need to wear a permit tag while visiting this park, which can be obtained through the city’s parks and rec department.

Scott Park
The Rita’s Ranch Dog Park is a wide-open space that is designed just for Fido to run free without his leash. You will need to get a permit from the animal care center, but the fees go to caring for the park and the animals in the center. There are plenty of seating areas where you can watch Fido play. Water bowls are provided; water, however, is not, so make sure to bring your own. Come and play fetch and have fun after enjoying the dog perks of Scott Park. There is lots to do for all the members of the family!
