Tiffany showed up super fast when I couldn t walk my dog Mina because of my neuropathy acting up. I had never used Wag! for on demand services before and this was amazing. Tiffany is so nice and sweet and the way that Mina was acting when she got back, I could tell that Tiffany was really good to Mina. She was acting almost like she wanted to leave with Tiffany ha ha. Ruffly eight miles from downtown Huntington Park, South Gate Dog Park in Hollydale Regional Park offers both small and larger dogs a chance to play safely, with a separate gated space for each size. Your pup will have enough space to run and be free – and there’s no extra charge for admission for the dog park! The park is open daily from dawn to dusk. After a few hours of fun, head four miles down the road to Real De Oaxaca, a restaurant that serves authentic Southern Mexico food. They have eight dog-friendly tables waiting for you and your furry loved one!

Enjoy some authentic food from Southern Mexico at Real De Oaxaca with your pooch by your side! There’s plenty of room for you both at one of the restaurant’s 8 pup-friendly outdoor tables. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with a variety of desserts. Try the Nopal Zapoteco dish -- grilled cactus, topped with grilled beef or chicken, onion, bell pepper, tomato, and melted Oaxacan string cheese. Or check out the Campechana, which is a dish of shrimp octopus, abalone and baby clams in sweet sauce tossed with chopped tomatoes, onion, cilantro and avocado. The vastness of their menu will make it hard to resist sneaking your hound a tasty morsel under the table. Real De Oaxaca’s hours are Monday from 11 AM to 9 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 10 AM to 9 PM. And they’re open Friday through Saturday from 9 AM to 1 AM and Sunday from 9 AM to 9 PM. It’s only four miles from South Gate Dog Park in Hollydale Regional Park!

Everyone loves In-N-Out Burger, the famous West Coast fast-food burger chain, but did you know they have a secret menu for dogs? Stop by the location in South Gate for a “Pup Patty,” an unseasoned, unsalted beef patty. Your pooch will love you furrever. Not to mention, the patty comes in a special doggy bag. Be sure to get your pup a paper hat to complete the experience. And don’t forget the secret menu for humans! Try the “Flying Dutchman” – a grilled cheese with patties instead of buns with fries in between – or a Neapolitan shake, in all its chocolate, strawberry and vanilla glory.

What dog lover doesn’t love a dog-themed restaurant? Lazy Dog Café might possibly be the most comfortable eatery for your pup. Your pooch doesn’t have full reign; he isn’t allowed to sit on the table, a chair or your lap, and must be on a leash at all times. But Fido can sit comfortably on the outdoor porch and order off the doggy menu: grilled chicken or a grilled hamburger patty and brown rice. While your furry friend is feasting, you can also chow down on a classic dish of anything from pizza to baby back ribs to pasta. During the week, the café opens at 11 AM and 10 AM on weekends.

Despite having very similar names, Huntington Beach is approximately 45 minutes from Huntington Park -- but the drive is well worth it. Here, you’ll find the Huntington Dog Beach, where your dog is free to frolic and make some new fur-iends off his leash. This is an incredibly pawpular dog beach. In fact, it’s so popular that dogs from all over the world come to visit! Fido will be multi-cultural after a day of play here. Just remember to always clean up after your pawesome pal, and to make sure he’s under your full voice control at all times. Aggressive behavior isn’t tolerated.
