Grab Fido and head out to the Dog Park Downey in Downey. Only five miles out of Pico Rivera, your furry pal will love running around this park off-leash and meeting some new friends. The park has two sections, one for large dogs and one for small, plus benches for owners to relax on. There are plenty of trees to help provide shade and grass for fetch and rolling. Locals say the park is a bit small for larger breeds, so if you have a big breed dog, you may want to consider a different park unless your dog doesn't mind smaller spaces.
