There is plenty of lawn space to run around on or play a game of catch. Your dog will love practicing his Frisbee catching skills with you too! Bring a drinking bowl for your pup and food and water for everyone.36

Hook Blvd/ Mojave Dr
Another great little dog-friendly park in neighboring Victorville is the 28 acre Hook Park. There is a paved running track around the grounds where you can take your pooch for some on-lead exercise, and a large expense of open grassed area for chasey, ball games or just relaxing together for a picnic. A playground will help keep the kids happy, and the ball fields and basketball courts are open for public use. Hook Park has BBQ grills, water fountains and restroom facilities on site. Bring a drinking bowl for when your pup has worked up a thirst, and waste bags to keep the park clean for other patrons.24

Mojave Narrows Regional Park in Victorville is a welcome green space in the desert. Sitting along the banks of the Mojave River, this park is the perfect place to come for a day out when visiting this area. The beautiful horseshoe lake and river access offers numerous activities, including fishing and kayaking for the waters lovers. Picnic areas, a playground and disc golf will keep the whole family entertained too. There are several walking trails around the park where you can go for a good walk with your pet to explore the park and stretch your legs. You will need to purchase a pass for a small fee when you enter the park. Dogs are welcome here, but as it is a National Park, you do need to keep your pooch on a lead at all times and clean up after him.12
