on Old Mission Road just off SR-44, which is a bustling highway all day long. Despite
being so close to the busy roadway, the
houses here are in a shady, heavily wooded
setting. Being close to SR-44 puts you close to several chain restaurants, a Publix
grocery store, and several other small stores including a pet shop on Wallace
Road.
While you might not be in the center of town, living within
two blocks of SR-44 means you can be there
in less than ten minutes and that you and your pup can be on the beach in less
than twenty. In fact, from your home in Bucks, you can be anywhere in New Smyrna
Beach in twenty-five minutes or less, depending on traffic. The area sports a number of green spaces in the form of nature
and aquatic preserves, parks, and, of course, the beach.

"Country flats" would be a good way to describe the terrain
out here in Bucks. Simply put, the area is not
heavily developed at the moment with large wooded areas in abundance. SR-44
is a very busy highway on any given day and is not the best place to take your dog for walks even though there are sidewalks

all the way into the center of town. It's an
excellent way for the two of you to log some healthy hiking miles!
The parks are heavily wooded and full of hiking trails that can easily take you to the large lake in the northern half of the park. The lake is the
perfect place for your four-legged friend to go swimming to help them cool down before you head for home.
