Wag! Walkers know Marina Point Harbor Condo
The Marina Point Harbor Condos were built on the end of a
narrow island that juts out from the mainland into the Halifax River. The condos
feature a pool out on the river's edge, free docking to owners, boat slips,
gated entry, a clubhouse, and private parking. The island is also home to the Chart
House. This is one of the best-known restaurants in town and serves an excellent
selection of fine foods. The island itself is mostly grass with the exception of
the parking lots, the main road, and the condos.
Living here gives you a phenomenal
view of the Halifax River and a great place to spend winters enjoying the warm
Daytona Beach weather where daytime temperatures routinely hover in the 50s and
60s. Summer can be a bit tough to deal with as temperatures can run in the 90s
to 100s and the humidity runs about the same, but you do get used to it in time.
What is the terrain like in Marina Point Harbor Condo?
When it comes to being flat, all you have to do is look at the
island the Marina Point Harbor Condos are built on. This pretty much sums up
the entire Daytona Beach area. In fact, the bridges over the Halifax River are the
highest points in the city, but this doesn't mean you can't still get in plenty
of exercise. The trick is to make the most of the terrain you have to work
with.
Rather than confine your walks to the island, take Fido out of the condo and down the road to where you will find a trail that leads to the north. If you
follow the trail, it will wrap around the marina boat docks and take you along
the waterfront to the Halifax Harbor Marina. While it might be a long walk, you
and Fido will enjoy the cool breezes coming in off the river as you watch the
many boats coasting nearby.
How many greenways are there in Marina Point Harbor Condo?
The Marina Point Harbor Condos are surrounded by green space
in the form of vast open areas of grass that cover every inch of the island
that isn't paved or built on. You can use these areas to get in your play time, but do keep in mind that, in time, Fido is likely to become bored with playing
on the same patch of grass day in and day out. You can also make use of the wide-open
spaces of grass on the way to the marina.
It's only a short drive to City
Island Park where you and Fido can walk along the waterfront or hang out on
the vast areas of grass. The park is also home to the City Island Terminal
Center, home of the Daytona Tortugas baseball park. Daytona Beach and the
surrounding areas have numerous parks for you to explore. Try to check out each park. You never know what you might
find!
