side of the highway, there are two apartment buildings and a large area of
grass and trees blocking your view of the FEC railroad tracks. On the other side of
this six-lane highway, the area is residential with single-family homes on large lots.

there is a Publix supermarket two miles to the south on US-1 where you can buy food for
everyone in the house. They also carry a selection of premium dog foods for your
pup. If you prefer to shop in a pet supply store for the things your pooch needs,

neighborhood. On both ends of the community, the streets tend to be significantly
quieter. Unfortunately, US-1 is a major highway running from Key West up the east coast until it reaches its northern end at Fort Kent, Maine. No matter
what time of day or night it happens to be, there is traffic on this stretch of
road.

into the residential areas on both sides of the highway. Most have sidewalks the

run about on and Lee Wenner Park offers more grass to
play on, but is home to a picnic pavilion, access to the boardwalk, and a public
boat ramp along with parking lots large enough to fit a vehicle and boat
trailer!
