South College Place
If your doggo has been lying around the house all day, grab the leash and head over to Lions Park for a delightful evening stroll. Let your pup’s nose be the guide as you aimlessly wander around the large grass area. Or take a brisk walk around the paved path for a little doggy cardio. Shade trees, a babbling creek, and a fishing pond make this park even more pawsome. To add some mileage to your walk, exit the park to the east and hop on the path that runs alongside Garrison Creek. You can also check out Harvest Meadows Park. It’s on the smaller side, but it’s definitely worth a visit!

West Walla Walla
If your pooch is bouncing off the walls, it’s time for a trip to the Walla Walla Dog Park. Located inside Fort Walla Walla Park, this pupperific off leash area is just five minutes from College Place. Your doggo can ditch the leash and run around to their heart’s content. They’ll burn off extra energy while romping around with new furry friends. There is a separate section for petite pooches, and water is always available. After your pal is finished playing, clip on the leash and stroll around the main area of the park. Your dog can commune with nature as they follow the trail through groves of trees in the undeveloped section of this beautiful park.

Washington Park
Everyone knows dogs and parks are a match made in heaven. So treat your pooch to an afternoon in Washington Park. Since it’s only a five minute drive from College Place, your pup won’t have to wait long to have fun in the sun. Not only does this park have a splash pad, playground, sport courts, and soccer fields, it also has a furrific walking path and large open lawn area. Take some laps around the pathway so your furry friend can get some much needed exercise. Be sure to bring water and clean up bags. Your pal will need a big drink of cold water after their workout!

Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park is Walla Walla’s oldest park and is pawsitively one of the best parks in town! Just over 10 minutes east of College Place, this massive park is chock full of furrific amenities. Whether your pal wants to stroll around a large grassy field, explore a puptastic network of paved walking paths, or just chill under a shade tree, this park has what they’re looking for. While wandering around, be sure to check out the outdoor aviary, historic cannon on display, and fragrant rose garden. Remember to keep your pal on leash and clean up whatever they put down. Make no mistake, your pooch will go mutts over this park!

Menlo Park/ Green Park
This Walla Walla neighborhood is home to Menlo Park, a pawsome neighborhood green space lined with mature shade trees. Since it’s just 10 minutes from College Place, it’s a puptastic spot to spend some time with your pooch. On any given day, this park is bustling with locals, so your pup can practice socializing while also getting some exercise. As you wander around the open lawn, let your doggo sniff the trees and look for squirrels. For a change of scenery, pop over to Wildwood Park. Besides having a playground, sport courts, and a ball field, this park features a grass area that’s just calling your pup’s name!
