Looking to start that hilltop hike with your hound? Then head straight to Wasatch Mountain State Park! This incredible spot offers visitors the chance to try out lots of different outdoor activities, from horseback riding to Nordic skiing, and boasts three historic features. This park is a favorite romping region among dog owners because the picture-perfect views provide a great backdrop for a puppy photoshoot, and the meandering mountain trails are a great place to stretch those legs. The Dutch Hollow Loop is a dog-friendly trail that covers 3.6 miles, is of moderate difficulty, and has always been a favorite among furry frolickers. Just remember to keep Fido on a leash while in this park.

Is your darling dog in need of some off-leash laps with other lovable lickers? Then head over to 254 W 650 N in Heber City to check out their pupperific park. This wide open-space has secure fencing to keep Fido safe, and there are plenty of grassy spots to sniff around in. There is a walking trail around the park for humans and hounds to enjoy, or you can sit in the shade and watch your beloved barker make friends. You’ll have to bring your own water to help your canine stay cool, but there are doggy waste bags provided and plenty of trash cans. There are no separate areas for small dogs, so make sure your pup is okay playing with dogs of any size!

Encompassed by wondrous woodlands and meadows, and featuring the unforgettable Deer Creek Dam and Reservoir, Deer Creek State Park truly is the stuff that doggie dreams are made of! This striking spot is a haven for surface water sports, like sailing and surfing, and has seven hiking trails for you and your four-legged favorite to explore. If you’re hoping for a leisurely lap, then the 0.25-mile Waterloo Trail is an easy path to follow, but if you’re in need of a tougher trek, then try out the Rolling Hills Trail. All trails are easily accessed within the park, and dogs are welcome on all the routes as long as they’re leashed!

Have you got a water-loving tail-wagger who is need of some new sniffs, fresh swims, and splendid socializing? Then you’d be barking mad to miss out on Willow Creek Dog Park! Take the short drive to Split Rail Ln in Park City and you’ve got a large, secure grassy space for running, an obstacle course for practicing tricks, and a huge puppy pond for swimming! There’s even a dock that allows the most "tailented" of tykes to do some impressive jumps and launches into the water! The barking lot has a watering station for cleaning and drinking, and poop bags are always provided.

Park City Dog Park is a peaceful place that gives hounds with hectic lives a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This park is never crowded, and yet there are always furrific friends to play with, so it gives the best of both worlds. There are separate areas for the tiniest tykes and both grassy and wood chip terrains. Park City Dog Park has an obstacle course for flexing those furry muscles, as well as a water fountain with a built-in doggy bowl to help keep your happy hound hydrated. Puppy poop packaging is provided, and there are ample trash cans dotted around for dumping!
