If you are out and about exploring everything that Hillsboro has to offer, you are bound to get hungry. So, when your stomach growls, be sure to drop by the pawsome Schlotzsky’s! This puptastic spot is dog friendly and serves up some delicious burgers, sandwiches, mac and cheese, pizza and salads for you to enjoy. You are welcome to bring your beloved companion with you to Schlotzsky’s, and there are outdoor tables where you can sit back and relax. Staff may also bring a water bowl and dog treat for your good pup.

There are also some furrific amenities that you can use here, including tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, seating area and a playground for the kids. For dog friendly accommodation, you can stay at the La Qunita Inn & Suites! Here you are welcome to bring two canines of any size and there is no additional fees to pay for your stay.

North Hillsboro
Every canine loves a trip to the park, which means that you have got to visit Wallace Park when you are in Hillsboro! Here you can go exploring 100 acres of land with your beloved companion, with lots of open space for playing fetch, as well as a sniff-tastic nature trail that you can follow on leash. There are also some other amenities at Wallace Park, which include a basketball court, soccer fields, baseball fields, pavilion, restroom and playground for the kids. For a stop on the way, you can drop by TA Hillsboro! This is a gas station that has a special exercise are for pooches, with waste bags provided in case you furgot your own.

To go on an adventure with your furry friend, jump in the car and head to the Lake Whitney State Park! This is beautiful place not far from Hillsboro in Whitney and it is the perfect place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
