Shelby was great. She offered to extend the walk and taking into account the heat, walked him off pavement mostly. She refreshed Carson s water bowl. She gave him some rubs and reassurance before leaving him.

If you’re looking for a laid-back time with your pooch, head over to nearby Columbia’s Columbia Kettle Works! This brewery, which is located less than two miles across the river from Wrightsville, has six dog-friendly patio tables. Not a drinker? No problem! Kettle Works also serves up non-alcoholic beverages and, as the name implies, popcorn. If you’re looking for something a bit heavier, check out their mouth-watering sandwiches or finger-lickin'-good ribs. Fido needs to stay on his leash at all times, and good behavior is a requirement, for both you and your pooch. Oh, and don't forget to bring a water bowl. Bone Appetit!
