Northeast Washington
You won’t go hungry in Washington, even with your four-legged friend by your side. Around the Trinity Point Shopping Centre are numerous choices of pet-friendly eateries, so there is sure to be something to suit every taste. Fusion Japanese Steak House or Wong’s Wok offer up Asian-inspired meals. For something simple check out Panera Bread, where you can tuck into a pastry, sandwich, wrap or salad. Buffalo Wild Winds and TGI Friday’s are also close by for a hearty meal of American-style dishes, such as a burger and chips or plate of delicious chicken. All of these places allow dogs in their outdoor seating area.36

Pancake Hill
For a nice little park visit close to town, check out the Billy Bell Park in Washington, southeast of the shopping district. Set over 6.3 acres, this well-kept community park has a 0.5-mile walking track where you and your pup can get in a few steps, as well as eight exercise stations if you would like to take working out up a notch. If you have kids with you, they will love the playground, swings with spring rockers, basketball court and ball field. Bring a packed lunch and set up camp at one of the picnic tables or grill yourself up something tasty on the BBQ’s. Water and restrooms are available at Billy Bell Park. Keep pup leashed and bring your stash of clean up bags for the trip.24

Zediker
The South Strabane Community Park in Washington is 73 acres of green space where you and your adventurous pup can enjoy a day out in the sunshine together. There is a 0.75-mile paved walking trail, perfect for a little on-lead stroll, or go off the beaten track and make your way around the grounds to check out the trees and nearby lake. Also at South Strabane Community Park are picnic facilities for when you are ready for a spell, restrooms, playground equipment, ball fields and a basketball court. Keep you pup leashed in this park, and pick up any mess he leaves behind.12
