Eberly Park squeezes three baseball diamonds into a small park! This translates into big crowds on game day, and a quiet park the rest of the time. If your dog doesn't like crowds, Eberly Park is a fantastic place to take them. There's plenty of room, and outside of games, it's not likely to be crowded. You and your leashed dog can walk the bases or feel the grass between your toes in the outfield! If your dog is a people-pup, bring them along on weekend mornings to see the local baseball teams in full action! All that mental stimulation will tire them right out.36
McClellandtown Road
The Mill Street Play Park is a small neighborhood park. It's mostly open fields, which makes it pawfect for walking your dog! Leash up and explore the perimeter of the park for the longest walk. You may still need to make a couple loops to tire out high energy dogs! If your dog is more of a nose-hound, you can take the walks much slower. With trees lining the park, there's going to be plenty to sniff and get their attention as you go! You should bring your own water bottle and a doggie bowl to share it with you; this park doesn't have a fountain.

South Uniontown
The South Uniontown Ballfield is exactly what it sounds like: a big baseball field! This is perfect if you just want to walk your dog in a big meadow. There's plenty of room, and the field is rarely full unless there's a game or a team practice. If you're looking to please a bigger group, head to Hutchinson Park instead. Though this park is also big on baseball (with four baseball diamonds, in fact!) it also has space not dedicated to the sport. There are open picnic tables, small meadows, and plenty of room to roam without getting in the line of fire on any field.12
Central Uniontown
Storey Square is a quiet half-block park stolen from the bustle of the city. There are paved walking paths through it, and some green, grassy areas as well. If you just want to stretch your legs with your pup, make this a stop in your Central Uniontown explorations! There's a bench or two as well, if you want to sit and eat your lunch in the sunshine! This park doesn't have play equipment or a sports field, so it's unlikely to be crowded. It's a great place when you want to be contemplative, and shy dogs are sure to enjoy it.
Duck Hollow
The Dunlap Creek Park is an open, green park that surrounds Dunlap Creek Lake. It's a fantastic place to go to spend the day outside. Swimming and fishing are both allowed at this lake. Your dog does have to be leashed, but with so much to see and do, that's hardly a hardship! Your adventurous pup can follow you on a grand tour, or you both can relax under the shade of the pavilion. Make a day of it by grilling up at the BBQ pits, and you're going to have a little something for everyone!
