Let Fido roam around off-leash at the Sutherlin Dog Park. This pawsome park has a seperated area for large and small dogs, and is completely fenced in to help keep your dog safe. There is a covered picnic area, benches for owners, water, and doggie bags if you forget yours. The dog park is located inside Hartley Park, so if your pup doesn't feel like socializing, you can still have a good day out at the park. On sunny days, the numerous trees here help give you shade while you walk on the pawsome trail that meanders throughout the park.36
SW Church Road
Take Fido out to the Ford's Pond Trail for a nice day of hiking and exploring. The trail welcomes your leashed dog to join you while you both get a good walk in and explore the 202-acres of pond and land. The area offers a great hiking trail, fishing, birding, and boating, all that you and your pup can enjoy together. There are waste areas provided in case you forget your bags while hiking as well. While the area around the pond is pawfect for your pup, do keep him out of the pond since swimming isn't allowed. Make sure to bring water with you while you and your pup enjoy this fun hike together.24

If you and your four legged friend start to get a bit famished, stop into Pedotti's Italian Restaurant for a delicious meal. Pedotti's dishes out homestyle Italian food with daily specials. Their menu includes primarily pasta dishes, but if you're not a fan, they also have salads and sandwiches that you can enjoy with your furry pal. They offer an outdoor patio and welcome your furry pal to join your while you enjoy a tasty meal outside. Trust us, Fido will be drooling to get a bite of your lasagna or Mediterranean Grilled Shrimp.12

Head out to the Cooper Creek Reservoir Park for an amazing day out with your furry pal. The park offers tons of amenities that you and Fido will love, including a BBQ, boat ramp, fishing, a picnic area, restrooms, and swimming access. Take a hike along the trail that goes around the lake and make sure to keep Fido on a leash while you do so. Locals warn that the bugs are bad on the trail, so make sure to plan accordingly before heading out. Bring plenty of water with you in case Fido gets thristy while out hiking.
Stearns Street/ Goodman Ave
If you and Fido want to get out of town to explore, head out to the Stearns City Park in Oakland. This beautiful park offers a great shaded hiking trail that you and your pup can get a good walk in. The park also has a great picnic area where you and Fido can enjoy a meal outside. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you to the park since none are provided.
