Sixteen miles away from North Ridgeville is a great park that you can visit called Lakewood Dog Park. You'll find this park in West Lakewood, near the Rocky River. The park is securely fenced and the ground is covered in gravel. For even more safety, the park has a double-gated entrance system in place. When it comes to fresh water, the park provides water seasonally -- you'll need to bring your own in the winter months. The park also provides benches, multiple shade trees, and separate areas for small and large dogs. The park is next to the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation, where you can also take your leashed dog to explore the trails.

Windfall
If you have a dog that likes to splash around and swim in the water, then you should take them to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park. This park, located in Windfall, has a seasonal pond where your pup can dip his paws! The park is enclosed with a five-foot fence and includes separate areas for small and large dogs. This 7-acre park has all types of terrain, from open areas and wooded sections to nice walking trails that are the perfect place to get a little exercise. If you decide to visit the park, take fresh water and waste baggies with you and get ready to have some fun!

West Avon Lake
Just around 8 miles north of North Ridgeville is another great place where you can go on a stroll with your pup called the Park 4 Paws Avon Lake Dog Park. The park is securely fenced and provides a double drinking water fountain for the pups and their parents. The ground is covered in grass, and there are plenty of shade trees at the park as well. For the human visitors, there are benches where you can sit back, relax and watch over your pup. There are waste stations in the park, and some agility equipment for the dogs to climb on.

North Medina
Memorial Dog Park in Medina is another park that offers a lot for you and your dog. It has two distinct areas for large and small doggos and it is located in North Medina, around 23 miles away from North Ridgeville. Water is available outside of the fenced area at the water fountain, so you might want to bring a bowl so your pup can drink some while playing in the fenced area. The ground is mostly grassy, and there are plenty of trees that provide shade. Benches and trash cans are also provided, but you'll need to bring some waste bags to clean up after your pooch.
Central Brunswick
Approximately 20 miles away from North Ridgeville is the Brunswick Dog Park, located in Central Brunswick. The park has no water source, but it has plenty of water bowls so you only need to take some fresh water. There are bag dispensers, too, but they are often empty, so bring your own waste baggies. The multiple trash cans are regularly emptied so the place is pretty clean. The park has only one tree that provides just a little bit of shade, but there is seating and picnic tables for the comfort of the human visitors.
