Albion Place

Albion Place is a bustling community that’s nestled between some of the city’s most beautiful

parks. Among the biggest is Garret Mountain Reservation, which features beautiful grassland, hiking, and nature trails that wind through gorgeous treelines. Just beside Garret Mountain Reservation is Rifle Camp Park, which features a scenic overlook, more trails, and even a nature center! The smaller parks, Albion Memorial Park and Ravine Park, are located at the heart of this thriving neighborhood. Dogs of all walks are invited, so long as they stay properly leashed.  Your four legged friend is certain to never want to leave!

Montclair Heights

Montclair Heights is a pleasant area that lays claim to three parks of its very own. In the southern half of the neighborhood lies Alonzo F. Bonsal Wildlife Preserve, which is a gorgeous, tranquil place set right over third river. Covered with trees, it’s the ideal place to forget your worries for a bit and allow your favorite pooch to stretch his legs. For something a little more open, Holster Park and Nash-Surgent Park both reside north of the Wildlife Preserve. These two parks feature open fields and wide blue skies, for when your pup just needs a place to run! As always, make sure your dog is properly leashed.

Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect is a humble neighborhood with a friendly community and pleasant air. Oak Ridge Park, near the northern end, is the perfect place for your dog to run free and feel the wind in their face. An open field provides plenty of space for releasing all that pent up energy and giving your pooch the workout of their lives! Closer to the southern end is Mount Prospect Park, a slightly longer stretch of land that features a total of four fields for your dog’s pleasure! Perfect for those wild rompers, your favorite canine will want to stay and play fetch all day.

Dutch Hill

Dutch Hill is a busy neighborhood full of activity! There are as many people as there are new friends to make, and it’s all centered around the uniquely lovely Weasel Brook Park. Featuring a centerpiece stream known as Weasel Brook which flows into a pond, there’s no excuse for your dog to have to suffer during those hot summer days. A commercial splash park is available for the truly adventurous, and plenty of grassy stretches provide your pooch with all the room he will ever need. Your dog will simply never want to leave!

Allwood Road

Allwood Road is a pleasing community that stretches across not one, but three beautiful parks! Residing closer to the southern bounds is Chelsea Park and Knollcroft Park.  Knollcroft Park offers beautiful paths through high standing trees, while Chelsea Park features a grassy expanse dotted with trees to keep the hot sun off your back.  Near the northern end of the neighborhood lies Jubilee Park, which is famous for its flea market featuring clothes, decorations, and accessories! For once, you can shop at the same time that you’re taking your favorite canine for a brisk stroll. No matter which park you pick, they’re sure to get a wagging tail and a happy smile!
