Meredith Main St

The Meredith Main St neighborhood is a delightful place to take your pup. Enjoy the lovely lake views from your pet-friendly room at the Mill Falls at the Lake. Up to two doggoes of any size are welcome for a moderate fee per pet, per night. Make sure to call ahead to check for availability as only six rooms are pup-friendly. At Meredith Main St, you and Fido are in close proximity to wooftacular bites to eat. Head over to the Frog Rock Travern to dine on delicious pub grub in a cozy atmosphere. Woof down fresh seafood, such as coconut shrimp and crab cakes, out on their puptastic outdoor patio. Bone appétit!

Meredith Bay

Soak up the scenic views of the water and the surrounding mountains from the Meredith Bay neighborhood. Your pup will love hanging out in the neighborhood's local Clough Park and Scenic Park, which both feature wooftacular views as you stroll alongside the waterfront walkways. Keep the parks and walkways clean with doggoe waste bags, available at the parks (or bring your own). While in the Meredith Bay area, definitely make a trip to the Lakeside Deli & Grille. Your pooch will have a blast lounging on the patio with lakefront views, lapping up a big bowl of water while you dig into scrumptious lobster rolls and fresh fish tacos. Great food, great drinks, great people, great pups! What's not to love?

Meredith Center

Take a short drive out of town to visit the Meredith Center neighborhood, where parks and nature surround you in all directions. Kick start your stay with a visit to Childs Park. It's the pawfect location for you and Fido to do your business (out on the grassy field and in the public restrooms available on site). A basketball court and a kid's playground is also on site. After you take some pawse at Childs Park, head to the wooftastic Hamlin Recreation and Conservation Area! This 310+ acre nature area features 6 miles of puptastic hiking trails, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. Look for rare tree and plant species on your hike! Bring doggie bags to collect any Fido droppings during your stroll.

East of Plymouth St

Get exploring with your pup at the Prescott Park located north of Meredith in the East of Plymouth St neighborhood. A puptastic clean tot lot playground, multi-use sports fields, an ice-skating rink and skate park are available here for your enjoyment. Leash up Fido and walk the near .5 mile trail loop and enjoy the sights and smells of nature! Public restrooms, in addition to public parking can be accessed by either the North and South trails. There's so much to enjoy with your pup at Prescott Park! Bring a blanket to set out on the grassy fields to enjoy a game of kid's soccer or get out your camera and snap some photos of you and your pup out on the trails.

Weirs Beach

Wag your way slightly south of Meredith to find the Weirs Beach neighborhood located in the northern part of Laconia. This wooftastic neighborhood offers you and Fido the chance to chow down at the Tower Hill Tavern, a lively blues and music venue that's ultra doggoe-friendly. Fido will be provided a water bowl upon arrival. Enjoy delicious appetizers like jalapeno poppers, tacos, wings, and more! On your way out, stop by the Kellerhause Ice Cream, Candy & Gifts where you and Fido can plop down on a lawn picnic table and enjoy homemade vanilla ice cream! A water spigot is on site to cool panting pups down in the summertime.
