In addition to hosting the pawfect dog park, East Clayton also happens to have its fair share of tasty morsels for you to sample -- maybe your pup, too, if they’re really good! A hop and a skip away from the dog park, you’ll find Skylines Cafe, a highly-rated spot for lunch and dinner. They have plenty of space for you and your canine companion in the outdoor seating area. The employees are happy to cater to dietary needs, so if your pup isn’t the only one who can’t handle greasy food, this is just the place. There are gluten free options, as well as vegetarian and vegan.36
Shotwell Road
Travel along Shotwell Road, and you’ll find yourself with plenty of attractions to explore, from a number of chain restaurants that allow your dog to dine in with you, to the little hidden gems that will make you want to pack a doggy bag. Cleveland Drafthouse is a family-friendly sports bar with a selection of soups and sandwiches -- and, more importantly, a place to lounge with your dog! Their outdoor area is expansive, and the employees are always eager to meet a new face… well, snout. Water bowls are available for customers, so your pup won’t get parched after slobbering on so many kisses.24
US 70
Keep on trucking along and you’ll soon find yourself traversing US 70. Intersecting Shotwell Road at the most populated area, you’ll find your share of treats if you keep on the path. Smithfields Chicken and Bar-B-Q isn’t just for pulled pork, however. Their chicken is definitely a treat for your taste buds, and your dog will be eager just to get a good sniff.
