Crystal was on time and ready to go. With this heat and my schedule I haven't been able to take Apache out as much as he needs so he was extra hyper and Crystal handled it like a pro!

Velvet is high energy and tough to tucker out, but Crystal did it! On a full day of working from home it can be tough to get my pup the exercise she needs, but thanks to an AWESOME play session with Crystal she s happy and tired. <3

What better way to start your day with a fresh cup of deliciously brewed coffee? The only thing that would make it pawsitively perfect would be having your puppy pal at your side. Luckily, you can at the outdoor decks of Carolina Moon Coffee and Unique Finds! However, the tables are only open after Easter, which is due to the frigid temperatures in the colder months. Just goes to show they care about your dog’s health, as well as your comfort! Carolina Moon is renowned for their delicious pimento cheese sandwiches, as well as their Lake Lure blend coffee. Mix it up with a frappe, or just get a simple cup of joe. Either way, your dog will enjoy watching tourists pass by as you prepare to face the day!

West Chimney Rock

West Chimney Rock

West Chimney Rock puts you right outside of the state park, and after a long day of treading the rocky trails, you and your pup will definitely need a break! Thank goodness that the Old Rock Cafe is placed directly beside the entrance of the park, easily within walking distance. With thirteen outdoor dining tables placed on a spacious deck that overlooks the broad river, you and your dog can enjoy the sights while you decide whether you want to try that chili, or one of their delicious burgers. There are also hiker lunches available if you decide to visit the cafe before going on your daily adventure, so you’ll be ready to roll as long as you’ve planned accordingly for Rover!

What’s an adventure to a popular tourist location without a visit to the local gift shop? While Bubba O’Leary’s carries a good share of souvenirs, from shirts to shot glasses, they also have a large selection of candy and general knick knacks. Best of all, your dog is more than welcome to join you inside. The employees are extremely accommodating and dog lovers themselves, so let your dog get a good petting from the cashier. You can find nearly anything you can think of at this large two-story store, and missing it would be a definite mistake! Your dog will thank you for the excitement!
