Downtown Frankenmuth
For all the pooches in the vicinity of Vassar, a great pawssibility for exercising and meeting new buddies is the Hund Platz Dog Park in Memorial Park in Frankenmuth. You and Fido only need to drive 9 miles to get here from Vassar. The park is not very large, but it is properly fenced and doggies can enjoy themselves off-leash -- and that's the most important thing! If you decide to check out the park, don't forget to bring water with you since the park lacks a water source. Waste baggies are available in the enclosed area as well as trash cans. Benches and some fun agility equipment are part of the park's pawesome amenities, too.36

East Bay City
If you're looking for a larger doggie park where the small and large pooches have their own separate areas, head to the eastern side of the Saginaw River in Bay City. The Bay County Dog Park provides plenty of amenities for a pawesome experience, including drinking water and agility equipment!
