Academy Junction

Academy Junction is an urban neighborhood that includes some apartments, single-family homes, several warehouses, and the public library. To get some exercise, you and Fido can walk along the residential streets. For a longer outing, connect to the Washington, Baltimore, and Annapolis Trail on Piney Orchard Parkway and Odenton Road. This multi-use pathway heads north through downtown, through suburban areas, and into some rural woodlands. Hike or jog along this paved trail with your special pal. Dogs can join you, provided that you keep them on a leash and under control. Make sure you bring water and waste bags with you for your outing.

Wethersfield

The neighborhood of Wethersfield, in the northeast part of Odenton, is a residential area. Here, you and your furry friend can take a stroll down tree-lined sidewalks. For a little outdoor adventure, head north about four miles to Severn-Danza Park on Donaldson Avenue. This facility includes several athletic fields, wooded areas, and walking trails. Stretch your legs as you wander through the park with your four-footed pal. Dogs are permitted in designated areas as long as they're on a leash and under your control at all times. Bring along waste bags so that you can pick up after your special pal.

Arundel Acres

The area of Arundel Acres is a residential development on the eastern side of Odenton. There's a loop around this neighborhood where you and Fido can take a walk to get some fresh air. If you want to treat your pal to a night or weekend away, head to east about 3.6 miles to Washington DC/Capitol KOA campground. This facility includes RV hookups and tent sites that allow most dog breeds as long as they're kept on a leash. While you're here, explore the nature trail with your fur baby or use the dog walk. Make sure you clean up any waste.

Arundel View

Arundel View is a small neighborhood with private residences and the area high school. You and Spot can take a stroll along the wooded roads in this community. If you're looking for a good walking or jogging pathway, head to GORC Park on Strawberry Lake Way. This facility has a paved trail that loops around the athletic fields and along the edge of the woods. Stretch your legs with your four-footed friend here. You can bring dogs to this public area as long as they're on a leash and under your control. Make sure you clean up your pet's droppings.

Settler's View

Settler's View is a multiplex development located in the southern part of town. This area has sidewalks and a paved walking path that you and your canine pal can use to get some exercise. If you follow Strawberry Lake Way west out of the neighborhood, you can connect to the Lone Wolf Trail in the Piney Orchard Nature Preserve. Hike through wooded areas and around ponds in this 45-acre facility. Dogs on a leash can accompany you here as long as you clean up their waste and keep them under control. Bring water with you when you visit this furrific natural space.
