SE Evergreen/ SW Paloma
If you're looking for a great park to hang out at with your four legged friend, check out the Alligator Lake Park. The park sits on Alligator Lake, perfect for water loving dogs. Amenities here include restrooms, play structures, restrooms, and a covered picnic area that you and Fido can use for a picnic. If your pup loves running in the grass, there is lots here for romping and playing. Take advantage of the walking path along the lake and get a good walk in while you're visiting.36
Greenfield
Grab Fido and go on an amazing hike on the Turley Run Trail. This 3.2-mile trail is perfect for owners and their dogs who are new to the hiking game. With a 370-foot elevation, and a loop route style, you and your dog will love hiking along this path together. The hike will take you along a river where your pup can splash around, plus there is a nice wooded area the two of you can explore. The trail is popular among hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikes, so keep an eye on your pup while you explore together.24

If you and your pup get a little hungry while roaming around nearby Lake City, stop into the North Lake City neighborhood for some pawsome dining choices. Buffalo Wild Wings offers classic wings that you can chow down on, plus burgers and salads. With an array of different sauce choices, you and Fido may be here for a while. If pizza is on the brain, check out 1000 degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria. They serve authentic artisan pizza in a casual environment. The Marion Street Bistro and Brew House is a gastropub with a huge menu that includes seafood and gluten-free options. All of these great restaurants have dog friendly patios and welcome your pup to join you for your meal.12
LC Country Club
Take your pup out to the Youngs Park NW Madison Street for a fun day of exploring and exercising. This park is in a wooded area, giving your dog ample amounts of exploring that he can do while visiting. There is plenty of shade from trees to help keep you both cool, and a nice walking trail the two of you can use for a walk. If your dog likes grass, this park is filled with it for a good game of fetch before heading home. This park doesn't offer many amneities, but your pup will still have a great time exploring it.
Olustee
Take Fido out to explore the Osceola National Forest with you. The forest is filled with great activities that you and your pup can do together, including picnicking, nature viewing, and fishing. The forest is filled with numerous hiking trails for a good walk, but keep your pup on a leash since there is hunting in parts of the forest. Make sure to pay attention to signage as there are certain areas your dog can't go into, like the beaches.
