Our fur baby is excited to see Jacqueline visit for walks. Jacqueline is very gentle with our senior dog and this gives us peace when we have to be away for long periods of time.

The kids are home for summer so I m sure they are in and out of the garage. Leaving it open is fine. I m sure one of the kids was back in there not long after you left. Thanks!

Dogs are allowed on all of the trails as long as they are leashed. The Garden of the Gods is the perfect place to take on great views while hiking over big rocks. After a day of exploring, both you and your pooch are welcome to get refreshed at The Café at the Garden, where dogs are invited to relax on the terrace. Northeast Colorado Springs

Northeast Colorado Springs

The Northeast section of Colorado Springs has lots to do for your dog and you! Stop by Jackson Park to let Rover run free at these off-leash grounds. The area offers tons of fun but no fence, so pups who like to listen may do better here. If you're craving the wilderness but want to stay safe, check out Ute Valley Park! With over 330 acres of rocks, woods and trails, this park will make you totally forget that you're hiking in the middle of town. Leashed canines are welcome for hikes and runs on the well maintained trails. Just north of town lies New Santa Fe Regional Trail, a converted train track that is a part of the Rails to Trails Conservancy. This trail is perfect for doggy walking, with easy parking and info maps to keep you on track!

East Colorado Springs

East Colorado Springs

The east side of Colorado Springs may not be quite as happening as other sections, but it does have Palmer Park! This amazing area is filled with awesome rock formations just waiting to be explored by you and your furry friend. The trails are all on-leash only, but they are long enough that your pup will be exhausted after a day of running, hiking and climbing the ruff terrain. There is a small fenced-in dog park, however most locals prefer tearing around the trails over hanging at the park. Either way, Palmer Park has so much to offer travellers with four legs. Just keep in mind the range doesn't have a lot of shade, so it may be best to bring some water and a dish to keep your bark buddy hydrated and happy.
