Great communication, very responsive and understanding. I needed help last minute and Betsy really put my mind at ease when it came to my pup. She made sure everything was just as seamless for my pup as it was for me. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone and would absolutely book with her again

review

Sierra was the perfect sitter!! Our dog Pinsir looooved her. He gets pretty anxious when we re gone but she made him feel completely safe and comfortable. I also have a senior cat, who she spent time with when she didn t have to. I get really worried when I leave my pets, but she took care of them so well that I was at ease. I loved how often she sent pictures and checked in, and was also very responsive. She followed all instructions and managed their little quirks. We would 100% book with her again and recommend you do the same!!

Fredericksburg Dog Fair & Masquerade Dog Parade

The Fredericksburg Fair has been a tradition since 1629 but it has gone to the dogs since 2012 when it became the Fredericksburg Dog Fair & Masquerade Dog Parade! It's a "fetching affair" with games, races, a canine casino, ask a vet, demonstrations, a dog show, lure coursing, live bands, food, and a beer garden. The parade is not to be topped - this parade is "top dog" as they are going for the world record of having the most costumed canines in a parade!

Paws at the Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery

The Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery is located along the "Grapes and Grains Trail" and welcomes dogs to its establishment. Areas that are allowed by law include the grounds,  courtyard, and on the patio – simply not inside any of their buildings. The beautiful rolling hills of the grounds are on a parcel of the 1040 historic farm called Richland. They sponsor a number of charitable events for the community including food banks, cancer walks and The Children's Miracle Network! You and your dog will a-pup-ciate the ambiance of this special vineyard.

Fido Friendly Fredericksburg Farmer's Market

History hounds will enjoy the charm of historic downtown Frederikcsburgs Hurkamp "Bark" as the site of the Fredericksburg Farmer's Market! The roads are blocked off on Saturdays so patrons can stroll the market, taking in the craft vendors and community events. It's a tail-wagging treat to explore the local antique shops and boutiques that often welcome dogs while owners browse their wares. Water bowls are available throughout the town. Most restaurants will also offer outdoor seating, making it possible to dine with your dog!

Play Days at the Duff Dog Park

It's time for frisky romping at the Duff Dog Park! This fenced park has 3 fenced areas for off-leash play - an area for small dogs, large dogs, and 5 acres of space for all dogs. The play areas are shaded, which is a real treat in the summer when pooches are running and playing fetch! There are agility toys, water, and bag dispensaries. Frisbee anyone? An added treat is a tail-wagging walk along the adjoining Rappahannock River that borders the park.

Oldest Dog Mart in America

In 1698, a Dog Mart was formed between the Pamunkey Indians and the settlers to promote trade. The settlers need the produce and fur for English hunting dogs. The event continued until the Revolutionary War. It was reinstated in 1926 to coincide with the hunting season. The event was again suspended during World War II and revitalized again in the 1970s. The Dog Mart has vendors, demonstrations, and activities that are all about dogs! It's a day to celebrate the place that our smart, canine companions have had in making fur-ends across cultures and time!
