DOGSDFW Polar Plunge
Join DOGSDFW for the annual Polar Plunge each November at Paradise 4 Paws DFW. Each year, this event takes over Paradise 4 Paws DFW, while the dogs get wet and wild!
From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., dogs can jump and swim around in the indoor splashing pool and play in the play area. Santa is stopping by for photos, and S.A.Y. Cheese Photography will snap five photos for only $10!
Grab a goodie bag or enter the raffle. Plus, all participants get a free bandana for your dog.
Admission is $15 for up to two dogs. Each additional dog is $5.

Pup Crawl: Barks and Brews
Second Chance SPCA hosts an annual Pup Crawl each November. From noon to 5 p.m., enjoy a beer tasting event with your pup in tow! You will be able to sample beers from a pre-selected list at several restaurants and pubs in Historic Downtown Plano.
After the pub crawl, join in on the party at Hub Streat. There will be food trucks, beverages, trivia, live music, and a silent auction. Dogs are allowed on the patio at this venue.
Tickets must be purchased at Hub Streat. They are $35 per person. All proceeds from the event will go to the Second Chance SPCA to help care for animals.

PawPalooza Dallas County
Bring your pooch out each February for PawPalooza Dallas County! Come out and enjoy good food while mingling with other dogs and dog owners. There will be adoptable pets out trying to meet their new family. If your pets are in need of vaccinations, TCAP will be offering low-cost vaccines. Browse through animal-related products and services.
Admission is free, but any donations received will go toward helping 100 service members and their families receive a free service animal! Any additional funds will go to providing transitional services to service members leaving conflict zones.

Bark in the Park Fun Day
Bring your children, dogs, and anyone else you know to the Bark in the Park Fun Day at Lonestar K9 Performance Club! The event features arts and crafts, food, vendors, and bounce houses for the kids. Watch different demonstrations and compete to win prizes.
Dogs must be leashed and controlled by an adult. Flexi-leads are not allowed at the event. All dogs should be on solid leads for better control. Only well-behaved dogs, please.
While admission is free, donations are welcomed. All donations benefit DFW Canines for Veterans. The organization trains service dogs for combat veterans suffering from PTSD or Traumatic Brain Injury.
Hops for Hounds
DFW FurGotten Friends invites dog owners to the Annual Hops for Hounds event in December. Each year, Community Beer Co. hosts Hops for Hounds, where beer drinkers help dogs in the DFW area find new homes.
Help them fill the brewery with people and dogs while they try to raise $10,000 for DFW FurGotten Friends. There will be food trucks with deliscious eats, games, and a raffle with tons of great prizes. Adoptable dogs will also be there hoping to find a forever home.
Tickets are $20 and get you three beers. Each pint sold will benefit the organization. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
