Flash, flash, flash - all of the puparazzi will be there to watch Fifi and Fido take their turn on the catwalk! This dog event is brought to you courtesy of Animal Rescue Rhode Island. Strike a pose pups! Bring your best dressed furry friend to compete or watch this adorable high-fashion event! There will be lots of free treats and prizes. All donations received will go to benefit the Animal Rescue Rhode Island, their many community outreach programs and the amazing pups at the rescue. Come on out and join in on the fun! You know your furry friend was born to be a model - now is your chance to put your bones where your paws are!36
Camp Bow Wow Free Puppy Socialization Class
Oh, the joys of having a puppy - from the sweet one-of-a-kind essence of puppy breath to the abject horrors of chewed up well, everything! Camp Bow Wow, located at 3 Keyes Way, would like to lend a helping paw in turning your pup into an A-1 canine buddy! Early socialization is key to helping young pups acclimatize to their new surroundings. This includes other dogs, cats, children, birds, lizards, hamsters, geckos - whatever resides at your house! Your pup will learn how to deal with all the newness of life! This event is free and run by a certified trainer. It is for puppies between 10-20 weeks who have had their distemper/parvo, rabies and bordetella vaccines (please bring proof with you). Please note that pre-registration is required. All pup pawrents will receive a $20.00 gift certificate from PetValu.24
Adoption Event - Bow chika Wow Town
What a great venue name - Bow Chika Wow Town proudly presents the adoption event of the season! There will be some wonderful dogs off leash, happy, wagging their tails and dying to meet you. If you already have a pup and are thinking of expanding your furry family and your dog's is current on their shots (please bring his vet records with you), bring him along to meet your potential new pooch outside the venue in the many green spaces surrounding Bow chika Wow Town. Bow chika Wow Town (we just can't say it enough - it is a great name) is located at 27 Meadow Street in Warwick, Rhode Island.12
Bark on the Beach
And you'll have fun, fun, fun till your puppy takes your sunhat away! Time for fun in the sun with your little furry buddy! This event happens every year around October so be sure to mark your calendar to check the sponsor's, Animal Rescue Rhode Island's, website for the exact date and time for each year. Sandcastles, surf, frisbee, raffles, lots and lots of vendors for both dog and people, yummy treats, prizes and family-friendly activities all in one spot! Be sure to bring your sunscreen, your beach chair, poop bags to clean up after your pup and last - but certainly not least, your pooch!
Santa Photos at PetSmart
Santa will be coming to town - to Warwick, Rhode Island more specifically, to pose with your good boy or gal for an amazing keepsake photo! Be sure to bring Fido or Fifi's wish list to give to the big man himself or to one of his friendly elves. This event is free so be sure to come on in, stroll the aisles with your furry buddy and let him give you some gift suggestions for Christmas. Stick around until you see the big man himself!
