Tailwagger's Trick or Treat
Hosted by Humane Pennsylvania in partnership with the Humane League of Lancaster County, Tailwagger’s Trick or Treat brings fun for the entire family to Buchanan Park each October! There will be music, crafts and games, and a vendor a market to explore. This fall festival would not be complete without costume contests galore, and there will be several categories to compete in for both dogs and their humans! Admission to this event is free; however, entry to the Beer Garden experience is $20 and includes several pint samples.36
All About Dogs Day
Every summer, the Berks County Kennel Club puts on a celebration dedicated to our loyal, furry companions at the Sinking Spring Fire Company. All About Dogs Day is a free event that brings the community together to enjoy to company of friends old and new, and offers access to vendors, breeders, and other animal resource providers in the Reading area! Food and drink will be available for purchase, and live demonstrations will be ongoing courtesy of the Kennel Club. All dogs are welcome to join their families for a day of appreciation!24
Dogs & Brews
As the sweet smell of summer rolls into Pennsylvania, the Animal Rescue League of Berks County puts on a beer lover’s spectacular at the Reading Public Museum - Dogs and Brews! This event will showcase beers both local and national, food trucks, and several dog-friendly vendors. There will be a tent specifically for dogs to play in while humans make their way across tasting stations! Admission is $45, and tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate in bulk or for individuals taking one for the team and acting as the designated driver.12
