Thea cared for Bowie during a very tender season of his life. This sitting was the day before he passed. By then he was tired and slowing down. She stayed close to him, sat with him on the floor, and made sure he was comfortable. When he had an accident, she handled it gently and without hesitation. She cleaned him up and made sure he was okay. That kind of calm presence matters more than people realize. Knowing he was treated with patience and kindness in his final days means a great deal to me. I m very grateful for the care she gave him.

Thea walked Bowie during a very tender season of his life. Walking was already getting hard, and she noticed. She let him pause. She moved at his pace. She spoke to him warmly and treated him like the little trooper he always was. That meant everything to me in his final chapter. I m so grateful for her gentleness and care.

Kendra is so patient and encouraging with Bowie Even when walking is hard for him, she supports him gently and celebrates his effort. I really appreciate how she sees his determination and keeps the walk calm and positive It means so much knowing he s with someone who truly cares

review

Thea is always so consistent and reliable with Bowie I love that she keeps his routine steady and notices the little things, like him going straight to his pee tree and getting a good potty in. Her communication is clear, and she always makes the walk feel calm and predictable for him I m so grateful for the thoughtful care she gives every time

Bark in the Park

Have you ever tried to race your dog but they were too fast for you? Well, it’s time to start training because Bark in the Park is back and it involves a lot of endurance! If you live a healthy lifestyle and want to prove your dog wrong, this is your opportunity. This is an annual event held in May at Alton Baker Park by Greenhill Humane Society that involves a 5k/10k run, or a 2k walk if you just can’t keep up with your doggo. The goal is to raise money for homeless pets, and with over 1,110 people + fur babies attending you better start preparing now!

Paws in the Garden

Do you ever take your dog for a walk, but the whole time he’s trying to pull you toward gardens that looks perfect and untouchable? It’s okay, now you can let him explore the flora at the North Eugene Area Gardens and Benefit for Homeless Animals. This annual event happens every September when the flowers are still vibrant, and the air is nice and crisp. Your pooch will feel like royalty around such beauty and will probably stop digging holes in your yard afterwards (ha! No way!)

The Fall Feast

Do you feel like your dog gets sad when you go to Costco and try all the samples without him? Well, each November on a designated day between 12pm – 3pm at PetSmart, your doggie can have some samples too! And we bet he won’t share. The annual Feasting event offers pets with a sampling of the season's favorite flavors like pumpkin and sweet potato! As a fur parent, you can also learn some health benefits, pet-etiquette tips and best practices for the holidays. Don’t forget to take home a free can of something special, and coupons!

Dine with Your Dog

We all hate leaving our dog behind when we go out for dinner, but what if you didn’t have to? Eugene offers several dog-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating, ready to feed you and your pup! At Cornbread Café (an amazing vegan restaurant) pets are encouraged! Although Oregon law states pets aren’t allowed in the indoor dining area unless they’re service animals, these restaurants work around that because “it’s part of the Eugene culture”, as said by an employee at the cornbread Café.

Amazon Dog Park

The idea of taking a small pooch to a dog park known for large pups can be scary, especially if your dog is so small the grass makes it difficult to see them! In 2011, Eugene created its first off-leash dog park for tiny puppers, making it safe and easy to take the little one outdoors. Now, these mini pooches can pick on pups their own size! Amazon Dog Park is a secure dog park meant for dogs under 25 pounds, and it’s completely constructed and maintained by a volunteer group!
