Doggie Dash & Dawdle
The annual Animal Humane of New Mexico's Doggie Dash & Dawdle is a 5K walk/run for you and your pup. As the Animal Humane's largest fundraiser of the year, the event attracts more than 4,500 attendees and about 2,000 of their furry best friends to come out and get some exercise while supporting the animal welfare organization's loving care and community programs. Have a pup at home who would rather cheer you on from the sidelines? You can register to run alone in the 5K dash while still supporting the great cause. Early registration is $35 per adult and $20 per every child age 12 and under. After the early registration period has ended, an additional $5 will be added to each registration fee.

Albuquerque Renaissance Faire
One of the city's more lively events, the annual Albuquerque Renaissance Faire is sure to be a timeless outing of fun for the whole family. The faire includes a wide range of entertainment including bands, skits, magic, and, of course, a variety of armored combat demonstrations that you and your pup can enjoy! Take a break from the hard life of living as a renaissance king in the Tilted Tankard Tavern, a venue for food, entertainment and libations, including mead and ale. The faire also includes a village of shopping that features handcrafted items from over 50 merchants selling a variety of Renaissance-themed goods. Summerfest
An Albuquerque tradition dating back to the 1980s, Summerfest is a series of free community events sprinkled throughout the summer aimed at bringing the Albuquerque area together for days of seasonal fun. Summerfest includes activities fit for the whole family - even the furry members! For the younger crowd, Summerfest features activities such as face painting, inflatables, and climbing walls. For the more mature members of the family, Summerfest offers a micro beer garden for those of age and an artisan market featuring local craftsmen. And for all attendees, there are lots of foodtrucks! Each Summerfest also brings both local and national talent of all genres for live entertainment. They are great days of fun that you don't want to miss!

Nob Hill’s Enchanted Pet Parade and Fair
A celebration of the eclectic neighborhood, the Nob Hill Enchanted Pet Parade and Fair is the time to celebrate the vibrant district and their love of furry friends. The Enchanted Pet Parade includes a bunch of pup-friendly contests including best owner/pet match, most unique pet, best trick, best representation of Nob Hill, and much more! Nob Hill is an artsy district just east of the University of New Mexico with eclectic shops, upscale dining, and swanky nightspots. You'll see lots of Route 66 neon signs and architecture gracing the locally-owned shops, galleries, and restaurants. Bring your furry friend and get ready to pose for the pupparazzi! It's a great night for the whole family.
Downtown Grower's Market
The Albuquerque Downtown Grower's Market is a pooch-friendly event dedicated to supporting and promoting local agriculture, small business development, and community engagement. This is done in the hopes of improving the economics, education, and the overall well-being of New Mexico residents and visitors. The market goes from mid-April to early November every year and features over 60 New Mexican growers offering the highest quality of produce available in the area. The market also hosts a wide array of talented local artists and artisan chefs. Established in 1996, the growing market is a perfect place to spend time with all members of the family, even the furry ones. Enjoy live music, community yoga, a bike valet service and a load of community spirit.
