Rock4Rescues
Listen to some great live music and help save the lives of animals in need — that’s the basic premise of Rock4Rescues, a pet-acular annual benefit concert held at Sociable Cider Works in Minneapolis. As well as seven hours of rockin’ music from great local artists, this pet-friendly event also includes a Photo pack walk, adoption event, arts and crafts, vendors, food trucks, a beer garden and so much more! Best of all, proceeds from Rock4Rescues benefit a host of local non-profit animal rescue and welfare organizations.

Walk for Animals
Join thousands of other people and their pets to support a great cause at Animal Humane Society’s Walk for Animals. Held in Golden Valley, this paw-some social event lets you and your dog take a relaxing stroll, meet heaps of other dog lovers, and show your support for animals in need in the Twin Cities. There’s a stack of other dog-friendly games and activities to be enjoyed on the day, and you’ll be filled with those warm, fuzzy feelings that come from doing something worthwhile for weeks afterwards.

Wine & Woof
Wonderful wines, wagging tails, and woofs combine at this pup-tacular annual fundraiser. Held to support Second Chance Animal Rescue in White Bear Lake, Wine & Woof takes place at Stillwater’s Northern Vineyards Winery. Apart from sampling the delicious wines, this “bring your dog to the winery day” also gives you the paw-fect chance to meet new people and treat your dog to a free canine massage. The first 150 pooches also get a doggy bag at the event, so make sure you and your pet get in early.

Fast and the Furry
Ready for some fast and furr-ious fun? Register now for the annual Fast and the Furry, a 5K run/walk and 8K run to benefit People and Pets Together. Held at Harriet Island each May, this dog-friendly event welcomes runners, walkers, and their furry friends to tackle the course of their choosing. More than just an athletic event, race day also features a free pet expo that’s open to the general public. There you can browse an exciting range of pet products and services, and maybe even stock up on a few treats for your canine companion. Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or more of a lazy Labrador, head along and check out all the fun.
Dog Day at the Saint Paul Saints Stadium
Ever wanted to take your dog to a baseball game? Now you can, thanks to the annual dog day at the Saint Paul Saints Stadium! Not only do you get to enjoy some high-quality baseball with your furry friend by your side, but you get to do it all with a huge crowd of fellow animal lovers. Your dog will love the ballpark atmosphere as well as the chance to enjoy free giveaways, product samples and vendors, along with heaps of other doggy activities. There are great freebies for the first 1,000 dogs through the gates, and your pooch will no doubt love the opportunity to sniff, frolic, and play with heaps of new doggy friends.
