River Street Dog Stroll

Hosted by Unity for the Community, the River Street Dog Stroll is a great way to beat the heat and get moving! Prizes will be competed for and several local handicraft vendors will have product available for sale. Grab a leash and head on down to the Rousakis Riverfront Plaza to celebrate the last dog days of summer!

Doggie Carnival

A smash success hosted by the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, Doggie Carnival is held at Forscythe Park at the beginning of Spring. It is fun for humans and pups of all ages.  There are vendors, beer and food trucks, photo booths, fortune telling, and so very much more!  Admission is free, and the memories to be made are priceless. Bring your favorite pupper with you to have a truly bark-tacular day!

Blue Orb Ghost Tours

Prepare to get spooky in one of America's oldest cities. Whether it's October or July, Blue Orb Ghost Tours is the perfect outing if you are looking to see some ghouls. Blue Orb has been voted one of the best in the country and has several tours to choose from ranging in price, length, and maturity level. Dogs are welcome on all of them with the exception of those with a motorized component. So bring your pup and a brave face to this freaky event!

Savannah Botanical Gardens

Open year-round from dawn until dusk, the Savannah Botanical Gardens welcome dogs. They house multiple gardens with several, special seasonal exhibits and a camellia garden. Take Fido along to walk the trails, visit the pond, and stop and smell the flowers, of course! The Gardens operate solely on donations, and admission is free, so why not check it out?

Skidaway State Park

If you are looking for classic Southern beauty on your daily walk, look no further. Skidaway State Park is full of Spanish moss, marsh grass, and a vibrant wildlife population! Leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds and trails, but they cannot go into the buildings housing cultural exhibits. There are campgrounds and playgrounds available for fun for the whole family. Admission is free, but parking costs $5.
