Remington did an amazing job caring for Zorian and Foxy while I was away. From the moment we met, he made me feel comfortable, and it was clear he genuinely cared about my dogs. He kept me updated, treated them like family, and when I picked them up, they were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. As a dog owner, that peace of mind means everything. I highly recommend Remington to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. Zorian and Foxy loved him, and I wouldn t hesitate to book with him again!

Amanda was a great caregiver for our dogs. She accommodated a last-minute booking, allowed us to pick up late, and kept us updated throughout the day with messages and photos. The dogs were well cared for, and we would definitely book with her again!

The Marietta-Roswell Pug Meetup Group

On the second Saturday of every month, there is a Pug Meetup Group at Sweat Mountain Dog Park from 10 am until 1 pm. For just a $1.00 donation to cover the monthly Meetup.com fee, you can join the crew with your cute, little smush-face. Any extra money that you're able to give is donated to a pug rescue group. It's a good idea to bring some water along, although there is a doggie-water fountain at the nearby dog park. The group meets no matter the weather, so get your outdoor gear on and go have some fun!

Sweat Mountain Dog Park

Sweat Mountain Dog Park is not just for pug Meetups, it is a great destination for any pup who loves to play! The large grounds have plenty of room to frolic and make for a great environment for dogs to socialize. There are nice trees that provide shade and seating for humans throughout the park. A water faucet is available for thirsty pups, and there are bag stations for picking up after your fur-ball. The park is tucked away and has a laid-back and friendly vibe among dog owners and their pets. Everyone is there to have fun with the dogs they love!

Lewis Dog Park

There is a pawesome dog park called Lewis Dog Park, where dogs are permitted to play off-leash with each other. Some park-goers suggested bringing your pup on a leash at first and then letting him run free once he is comfortable. There are two areas in this dog park, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. This guarantees happy pups and safe play time! There are plenty of picnic tables to accommodate pet owners who want to take a seat and watch their sweet dogs gleefully play. Taking dogs to dog parks helps them socialize, exercise, and play with their friends!

St. Paw-Trick's Day Rescue Dog Olympics

Every year for St. Patrick’s day, there is a St. Paw-Trick’s Day Rescue Dog Olympics. This event partners with pet shelters and support organizations to celebrate and bring awareness to rescued pets. All dogs are welcome on-leash to this day of fun. For humans, there will be a delicious variety of food trucks and drinks. Festival hours are from 11 am until 4 pm. Registering your pup is not required, though it is an option. Pre-registered participants are able to view the games list early, so those more competitive pups may want to register early! For those who do not pre-register, the game stations are not announced until closer to the event and will be available on their Facebook page.
