Woofstock

With a name like Woofstock, you’d expect this event to be one great big party to celebrate all things canine — and you wouldn't be disappointed! Held in May, this annual pet party in the park is a much-anticipated event among dog lovers in and around the Atlanta area. Each year, it sees tens of thousands of pet lovers, many of them with their canine companions in tow, descend on either Suwanee Town Center Park or Smyrna Market Village for a weekend full of pet-friendly fun! Why the two venues? This event is so popular that it’s held twice a year, in May and September, so check the schedule for each event to find out what you and your dog can expect at this grrr-oovy pet festival.

Dogtoberfest EAV

Dogtoberfest EAV (Easy Atlanta Village) is a non-profit with a mission to promote responsible pet ownership. Each year, it holds this family-friendly pet festival to benefit local non-profits that work to improve the lives of pets! For dog lovers, this means you can enjoy a jam-packed afternoon full of canine games and activities, with highlights including a doggy costume contest, grrr-eat raffle prizes, educational sessions, pet product vendors, and plenty of cute adoptable dogs to meet. The event is free for people and $5 per dog, while the costume contest also attracts a $5 entry fee. Add it to your diary for the year ahead!
