Dogtoberfest
It's one of the biggest Fall events on the Gulf Coast, and you and your pooch are invited! Dogtoberfest is an annual event, going on a decade strong in the beautiful, charming downtown of Dunedin, just a small trek from Palm Harbor. The event, put on by the Suncoast Animal League, will feature a full day of doggie fun for you and your pet, including a pet costume contest, a coronation of the dog King and Queen of the festival, a My Pet's Got Talent, an Alumni Parade, and most unique of all, the annual running of the wieners - that's right, it's wiener dog race!Don't miss out on this technically free event ($5 for parking) and don't forget to bring your four-legged friend to sniff around, meet new friends, and enjoy the festivities.

Hosted by the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, this pawesome event is one that you and your pooch certainly won't want to miss! On the waterfront, this pup event will feature a fun-filled day of pup-vendors, doggo activities, food, drinks, and other awesome pup fun-times! Proceeds from this event will benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.24

We know you and your pup can't get enough of pup parks - even when you branch out and explore, we know you always want a home base for you and your pooch. We suggest the Chestnut Park Paw Playground, as it is a fenced in pup park that overlooks the water. This is a secure, off-leash park where your pup can run free, and it even includes showers and doggy water fountains!12
