Riverfront Music Series
Save the date for this annual summer event! This dog-friendly music festival is filled with tunes, food, pups, family and friends! The event takes place in July, so be sure to check out the Glastonbury Parks & Recreation Department's website for further updates. This free, (yes, you read right) event will take place at Riverfront Park. Grab a blanket and a spot on the lawn, enjoy some lunch from your picnic basket or get something tasty from one of the many food trucks on site, relax and enjoy some great musical entertainment! (Be sure to clean up after your leashed pup, too).36
OPIN Free Dog Training Class
Does your little pooch need a refresher course on his manners? It's okay - we can all use a little help now and then. You and your puppy pupil should head to The Bartlett Arboretum every Wednesday night through April. K9 trainer Rob Mullin will walk your pup through the basics - walking on a leash, sitting, staying and any special things you have been having trouble getting your little buddy to do. Bring your pup on a 6-foot, non-retractable leash, a choke collar (don't panic) and his up-to-date license and rabies certificates. This class takes place in nearby Stamford, Connecticutt.24
