Breydy was incredible and really went above and beyond for my dog and my family. She was highly communicative and always pleasant. She was on time for both drop off and pick up. But most importantly, she took great care of my dog and really went a step above, bathing him and offering him toys he truly enjoyed. We traveled for a long while, quite far away, and worried about leaving him behind. This was easily one of the best experiences with boarding we d had. Lissette was amazing . She is extremely friendly, kind and knowledgeable about dogs, specially daschunds . She has a very nice front yard that connects to the backyard with a dog house and plenty of ramps toys and furniture all for the dogs . You can tell she cares about animals in general. Lisette is incredible! She has such a calming demeanor; Bandit warmed up to her immediately! Lisette has 3 sweet pups at her house, they all welcomed Bandit with open paws. She sent updates the whole time; I could tell Bandit was having a BLAST and was treated like he was her own. He was wiped when he came home, too. <3 No doubt, Bandit will stay with Lisette again!

Run the Bluffs

Run the Bluffs could be the ideal event for you! Held at The Bluffs Regional Park in October, this 2.5-mile walk/run winds its way along a hilly dirt path. All friendly dogs are welcome, and there’s a kisses and cuddles booth on-site with adoptable pups. And the best part? The event raises funds for Colorado Puppy Rescue, so grab your pooch and get ready to Run the Bluffs!

Dogs and Hogs Car & Motorcycle Show
A fundraiser to benefit the VOA Veteran Peer Program for homeless veterans, this free family-friendly event promises a grrr-eat day out for petrolheads and pet lovers alike. Held at Bark & Play, the Dogs and Hogs Car & Motorcycle Show brings together some of the shiniest and most spectacular cars, trucks, and motorcycles you’ll ever see in one place. There are dog adoptions on site and the event is free to attend, so head on down and check it out.

Furry Scurry
Ever wanted to be part of the largest dog walk in the country? Well, now you can at the much-anticipated annual Furry Scurry. Held in Denver at Washington Park, this two-mile walk and fun run sees thousands of animal lovers and their four-legged friends getting out and about to enjoy a beautiful spring day. The Scurry is then followed by tasty refreshments, food trucks, canine contests, dog demonstrations, and more than 150 pet-related vendors at the Flealess Market. Funds raised on the day benefit the Dumb Friends League, which cares for more than 20,000 homeless pets each year!

Denver Pet Expo
If you’re ready to hunt for a bargain as you browse the latest and best pet products from tons of exhibitors, head over to the Denver Pet Expo! Held at the National Western Complex and free to enter, this paw-some pet event showcases all the products you’re ever likely to need for your furry friend. Your dog is more than welcome to join you on your shopping expedition, and there’s plenty more for you and your pet to see and do throughout your visit. Highlights include doggy demonstrations, prize giveaways, adoptable animals, and lots of dog-friendly games, so you and your pet might even have to come back for the second day!
Doggie Plunge
Does your pet love getting wet? Does he adore frolicking in the water with his canine friends? If you answered yes, the annual Doggie Plunge could be your pooch’s idea of a dream day out. Held at the Pirates Cove Family Aquatic Center in nearby Englewood, the Doggie Plunge sees hundreds of four-legged swimmers splash and play their way around this paw-some water park. There are life jackets, water toys, and tasty frozen treat for dogs, plus local food trucks and sponsor tents to keep two-legged guests happy. But remember, this event always sells out so you’ll need to get in quick!
