Hogs For Dogs POKER RUN
Some dogs have a great poker face, others, you can tell easily when they’re trying to hide something naughty they did while you weren’t home. So, if your dog is awful at poker, this event is perfect for you - because it’s all about running! Hogs for Dogs is a poker run held in Ventura that is presented by Mended Sisters MC and the proceeds benefit Ventura County Animal Services. The event will be filled with vendors, food trucks, raffle prizes, music and doggies! It’s an outdoor community event open to all, so don’t forget to bring the little ones as well.36
Pet-A-Palooza
Pet-a-Palooza - it’s party time! Bring your hungry pup out to party in the beautiful city of Ventura. Pet-a-Palooza is hosted by Simi Valley Animal Shelter at Theresa’s Country Feed and Pet. It’s an event to raise funding and awareness for the shelter. It’s a wonderful way for your dog to party with other dogs, and for you to potentially add another pup to the famjam! The event itself is free and there are vendors and activities catered just for doggies, so grab a leash and bring your pooch because this will be one party you won’t forget!

Easter Eggstravaganza
Easter time is not just about the bunnies and the chocolate - it’s about EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA! (Try saying that five times fast.) This event is admission-free and open to both the family and fur-family. There will be plenty of things for the kiddies and puppies to do, like face painting, henna tattoos, kids crafts, games, prizes, and more. Guess who else will be there - THE EASTER BUNNY - and also dogs who are up for adoption—with the fee waived! So fill your Easter basket up with doggy treats and see which puppy comes to you first and they’re yours to keep!

Conejo Grandmas 4 GrandPAWS
Have you heard of Grandma’s for GrandPAWS? It’s an amazing event that connects senior people with senior pups! Everybody needs love, and sometimes the world can get a little lonely when you become a senior. This event is catered to helping match dogs up with their perfect, best-human-friends. It’s filled with food, so you don’t have to worry about splitting the bill. There are also music, raffles and more. This event is meant to help people and dogs understand that there is someone special out their for them and that it’s never too late to be loved!
Pooch Parade
Pooch Parade is Ventura’s BIGGEST dog-themed event of the year! This event has been around for over 20 years. It’s a nice way to enjoy a walk with the perks of being able to eat, drink, shop and support homeless dogs who need a home at the same time. This fun event caters to dogs in many ways as well as to people out on a date or a family night. There are tons of prizes to win, music to enjoy, and pooches to support! If interested, please make a donation to support homeless dogs, on their journey to finding a place to call home.
