Simi Valley Howlween Pooch Parade

Head on over to Rancho Tapo Community Park for a day of costume contests, live music, talent contests, and so much more! Registration is $10 per dog, but if you just want to go as a spectator with your pup, entry is free. You and your pooch can get in the Halloween spirit by dressing up and competing in any of the number of contests offered, with categories like "funniest costume". Build a float or decorate a wagon for the parade, and win "Best Float", or participate in the silent auction. Win great stuff for your pooch while benefiting the local pet organizations that are doing great things in Simi Valley.

Wag n' Walk

The Wag n' Walk is a charity event benefiting animal rescue volunteers all over the Simi Valley area. Bring your pup for a three-mile walk around the park and surrounding areas. There will be like-minded dog lovers enjoying the day, so expect many friendly interactions. Connect with your community and make new human and pooch friends while engaging in a healthy activity that is sure to equate to a morning of fun and laughter. Registration is free, though donations are encouraged. Not only is there a walk, but there will also be local pet vendors, a photo booth, a free breakfast, a silent auction, and other entertainment that is sure to be a blast for all who attend!

Picasso Pups

Head on over to the Naked Dog in Simi Valley in July for a great day of art with your favorite four-legged friend. Using puppy friendly paints, your dog can experience the joy of making art! And you get to experience the joy of getting covered in paint and having fun with your mutt! Dogs can use their paw prints to create a masterpiece worth of a spot on the fridge, or maybe even framed in the entryway. There will be prizes to win and lots of other entertainment.
