Riverside Pet Fest
Looking for a fabulous festival that promises fun for all members of the family, including those with four legs? Look no further than Riverside Pet Fest, an outdoor festival held at Pet Valu Riverside in August! You and your furry friend can enjoy free bags of goodies, pet product vendors, free raffles, face painting, and even a doggy obstacle course. Your pooch will love the treat demo booth, while there are also plenty of cute and cuddly adoptable animals looking for their fur-ever homes. In other words, there’s plenty to keep you and Fido entertained all day long.

Doggie POOL-ooza
As the dog days of summer are coming to an end and the swim season starts to wind down, why not give your dog one last hurrah? Hosted by San Bernardino County Parks at Cucamonga -Guasti Regional Park in Ontario, Doggie POOL-ooza allows you to bring your furry friend along for a refreshing dip in the cool pool. Splashing and frolicking in the water is more than enough fun for most dogs, but other event highlights include a Doggie Swimsuit Competition, Dog/Owner look-a-like contest, Top Dog Talent Show, and races for little dogs! Admission is $5 per person and $1 per dog.

Walk with the Animals
If you’re looking for a way to support the hard work of the good people at the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, this event is paw-fect! Held each May around Lake Evans, the 1.3-mile Walk with the Animals benefits the center’s work to help animals in need. You and your furry friend can join thousands of other animal lovers and their pets as they enjoy a social, scenic stroll around the lake. There are some grrr-eat prizes on offer for those who collect the most pledges, as well as plenty of on-site vendor booths so you can browse a variety of pet products with your pooch.

Santa Paws Pet Photos & Holiday Boutique
A fun, festive event that also helps pets in need, the Santa Paws Pet Photos & Holiday Boutique is hosted by the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley. It’s the paw-fect opportunity to get some cute and adorable photos of your furry friend with Santa Paws, and 5x7 photos will be ready to take home on the day for $7 each. There’s also a Holiday Boutique that runs throughout the event, featuring a host of gifts for people and pets, not to mention raffle tickets and a variety of baked goodies. Best of all, proceeds from the event directly fund the society’s cruelty investigation and humane education programs!
Dog Daze
Want to see your dog strut her stuff on the red carpet, posing for the pup-arazzi in her most fetching outfit for the chance to win a fantastic prize? Dog Daze is the paw-fect event for you! Hosted by the Crossings at Corona Shopping Mall, this free event promises plenty of fun and entertainment for all two- and four-legged members of the family. The red carpet dog walk and parade is cute, adorable, and often hilarious, with the best-dressed dogs competing for a range of prizes. All friendly, leashed dogs are more than welcome to enter, so now’s the time to give your pooch her shot at 15 minutes of fame!
