World Dog Day
World Dog Day may only be a relatively new addition to the LA doggy event calendar, but it’s quickly developing a reputation as a mutts-see for all animal lovers. First held in 2016 by the Vanderpump Dog Foundation, this annual festival is a celebration of our wonderful four-legged friends! All the fun takes place on West Third Street between Crescent Heights and La Jolla, where you and your pooch can indulge in plenty of food, fun, and entertainment. There’s a stack of pet vendors promoting a variety of products and services, and plenty of things for dogs and humans to see and do. World Dog Day is designed to raise awareness of global dog abuse, so get on down to have some fun and make your voice heard!

Pups at the Park
Take me out to the ball game — and take your dog along as well! Every year, the LA Dodgers welcome dog-loving baseball fans and their pets for a night of fun and world-class sports at Dodger Stadium. All the fun starts well before the first pitch, with canines invited to enjoy a pup activity center and then a pooch parade on the field! After that, you and your pooch can sit back, relax, and enjoy the game with plenty of other dog owners and their pets. Human tickets are $50 and include unlimited Dodger Dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, Coke products, and water, while $37 dog tickets include a Dog Goody Bag and participation in the pup activity center and parade.

Eat | See | Hear
Eat | See | Hear is a summer-long celebration of movies, food, and music, bringing together some of the best experiences and activities LA has to offer. The festival is held every Saturday night for 20 consecutive weeks from May to September and features an assortment of LA’s best food trucks, offering something to suit every appetite! The other main highlight is the always-popular outdoor movie screenings, with pup-ular movies shown on a three-story-tall inflatable movie screen! Grrr-eat local bands provide the pre-show entertainment, and friendly, leashed pets are allowed at every Eat|See|Hear location. In fact, there are even free doggy biscuits at the entrance, which are sure to get your pet’s tail wagging.

Woofstock 90210
This annual pet-acular is a pet-friendly celebration for dogs and their owners. Presented by the City of Beverly Hills’ Community Services Department, Woofstock 90210 offers a huge range of activities, events, and attractions that you and your furry friend can enjoy together! There are pet adoptions, heaps of pet product vendors, food trucks, and hours of live entertainment for both pets and their people. There’s even a pet parade if your pooch loves being the center of attention, as well as face and body painting for two- and four-legged attendees. There’s so much to see and do that we simply don’t have the space to list it all here, so you can see why Woofstock is something every dog lover should mark in their diary for next year!
Doggie Splash
Say goodbye to summer in style at Doggie Splash, a furr-ociously fun event for friendly dogs of all ages! Held at Burbank’s McCambridge Pool, this splash-tacular afternoon gives dogs the paw-fect opportunity to get wet and have a whole lot of fun in the water. Dogs only (meaning no humans) are allowed in the pool, so your furry friend is free to doggy paddle to his heart’s content. Not only will he get some exercise and have a wonderful time, but he might also make some new doggy friends! There’s no charge to attend, and you’ll find that you have almost as fun watching your dog enjoy himself as he does swimming lap after lap.
