Fullerton Dog Days of Summer
Dogs enjoy a night out, too, so bring your pooch to the Fullerton Dog Days of Summer at the Downtown Fullerton Market! A DJ will be at the market playing great music, and you can enter your dog into a few fun contests to win super prizes. Some of the contests include Loudest Barker, Best Kisser, and Fastest Eater!
Admission is free, but there will be a bunch of dog-related vendors with great products that you - and especially your dog - won’t want to miss out on, so bring some cash!
The market opens at 4:00 pm and the competitions and entertainment will begin at 5. This night of fun ends at 8:30.

Basset Hound Rescue Spring Games
Enjoy an afternoon of fun, games and more with Basset Hound Rescue during the group’s Spring Games event each June! Hosted at Mason Regional Park in Irvine, California, you and your dog (Basset Hound or not) can take part in doggie crafts, shop through dog-related vendors, and play great games.
There will be BBQ available during the event and a raffle with great prizes. The rescue will have adoptable hounds available on site, so come out and meet your new best friend! Adoption fees will be discounted during the event.
The day starts at 10:00 am and wraps up at 3:00 pm. Admission is free.

Paws on Parade
Paws on Parade is one of the most exciting events in the Fullerton, California, area each year! Come down to the Costa Mesa Bark Park in Costa Mesa for a parade and fashion show of four-legged friends from all over the area. Hosted by German Shepherd Safe Haven, you won’t want to miss out on the great K9s in the fashion show, some of which are available for adoption.
Dress your dog up in the hopes of winning great prizes during the costume contest! Categories include Best Swimwear, Most Glamorous, and Best in Show.
The parade takes place on a Friday every June and lasts from 5:30 to 8:30.

Tilted Kilt Home for the Howlidays Yappy Hour
Enjoy an evening of beer and dogs at Tilted Kilt during the pub’s Home for the Howlidays Yappy Hour event. Sit down on the patio with your pooch and drink great beer for a great cause!
Mutt Hut Rescue will have adoptable dogs at the event, all in the hopes of finding them new homes, and 20 percent of the food proceeds from the events will go back to Mutt Hut Rescue to help in caring for more homeless pets.
There will be a dog-friendly menu for all hungry pups, and raffle prizes for the people!
Crate Escape West Hollywood
Get some exercise with your dog during the Crate Escape West Hollywood event each December! Enjoy a hike up Runyan Canyon followed by a Yappy Hour at West Hollywood JFFD Kitchen.
JustFoodForDogs and SoCalGoldenRetrievers will lead the light hike and hope that dogs of all breeds and sizes will join in for a day in the great outdoors.
All participants or groups will receive a swag bag from JFFD as well as entry into the free Yappy Hour. Eats and refreshments will be provided for pet parents, and pupsicles will be just $2 during the Yappy Hour!
Dogs must remain leashed during the entire event.
