Claudia took great care of Bodie and made sure he was comfortable the entire time. She even went the extra mile by taking him to a dog party - he had such a great time! She kept me updated throughout and was super communicative. Highly recommend!

As demonstrated in our first visit, Chosen seemed to enjoy his second boarding visit. This 95 lb. Rotty loves to play and underestimates his own strength. It s helpful that Priscilla s husband helps to handle Chosen on leash. He s currently in training and it helps to have capable boarders during the process that show them boundaries, social interaction and makes our separations more easier to cope with.

Boo! Bark, Brews and Bites

Halloween wouldn’t be any fun without your furry friend by your side, so why not treat your pet to this pup-friendly spook-tacular? Boo! Barks, Brews and Bites is a free Halloween celebration on the Oakland waterfront, but the best part of all is that dogs are more than welcome to attend! The picturesque waterfront area is packed with heaps of doggy activities such as paw painting, pet pampering, the pet photo booth, and even a pet psychic. There’s also plenty of food and drink for two-legged guests to enjoy, with heaps of delicious bites and brews for you to sample all day long!

Dog Day Afternoon

Dog Day Afternoon is the largest pet adoption street fair in San Francisco, so if you’re looking to adopt a new, cute canine then it’s well worth attending! However, there’s also plenty to experience and enjoy even if you’re not looking for a new pet, as this festival is packed full of activities and events you and your furry friend can enjoy together. There are samples and products from pet-related vendors, pet caricatures, pet photography, and even a cute and colourful pet costume contest! There’s also music and a BBQ in the Delancey Courtyard, but the best part of all is that 100 percent of all proceeds go to the rescue groups that attend the event. Dog Day Afternoon is hosted by Pawtrero on Brannan Street, so check it out with your pet next November.

Nihonmachi Street Fair Doggie World

The Nihonmachi Street Fair is a long-running cultural festival that celebrates the best that San Francisco has to offer. From art and music to food and community outreach services, you’ll find it all at this wonderful event! However, the Sunday of the festival also features Doggie World — a gathering place where your four-legged friend can join in the festival fun. There are vendors selling pet products, grrr-eat dog goodie bags, rescue groups, a photo booth, and animal experts on hand to offer pet care advice. The highlight, however, is the Doggie World Parade, which sees stacks of pampered pooches pose for the pup-arazzi and enjoy their time in the spotlight! Best of all, the parade benefits the San Francisco Animal Care & Control Center.

DogFest

An annual celebration of dogs and kids, DogFest is a paw-some festival that offers something for everyone! This day of dog-friendly fun is a fundraiser for McKinley Elementary School, and there’s no shortage of tail-wagging experiences for you and your pooch to enjoy all day long. The highlight would probably have to be the Everyday Dog Show, which offers paw-some prizes in categories such as Best Costume, Best Tail, Best Trick, and Best Mutt. Other features include a silent auction, kids’ games, delicious food, and some grrr-eat doggy vendors. All the frivolity takes place in Duboce Park, so get there early to make sure you don’t miss a thing!
