I was worried about my Dog being to much for anyone to put up with. She is super Hyper and super stubborn. But Amber and her pups were a great fit for her. After drop off I was no longer worried. Coming to Phoenix’s Caesar Chavez Park each Fall, Strut Your Mutt is a touring dog walk event series to raise funds for Best Friends: Save Them All, which provides sanctuary to homeless dogs across the country. Doggie Street Festival
Who doesn’t love a good street festival? Each winter at Steele Indian School Park, the Doggie Street Festival comes to town. Treat your dog to goodies and toys from local vendors while you enjoy great food and drinks. Drop the kids off at the kid’s craft area while you interact with many of the free pet professional consultation booths ranging from experts in agility training to groomers. Entry to the festival is free, and the festival plays host to several charitable adoption events.24
Furry Friends Fine Arts Festival
With the arrival of Autumn comes the Furry Friends Fine Arts Festival at the Shemer Arts Center, which showcases an exhibit of all things related to pets done by local artists. There will be vendors, animal service providers, and pet-friendly businesses for guests to shop with and learn about. At $10 per group entering and dogs coming along for free, it’s bargain fun for the whole family.

Beers, Brats and Best Friends Oktoberfest
Calling all beer aficionados - the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) hosts an annual Oktoberfest event at the pet-friendly O.S.H.O. Eatery. Not only can you purchase all of the classic German favorites to snack on, attendees have access to beers brewed exclusively for this event. And even if you do not win anything in the silent auction, the first one hundred ticket holders walk away with a goodie bag for Fido. Tickets start at $30 per person and proceeds go to AAWL.
Dog's Day in the Garden
Held at the Desert Botanical Garden several times a year, you can bring your furry friends into the gardens for $4 a dog. With activities like dog yoga and shopping in the Barketplace, Dog’s Day in the Garden is sure to bring new sights and smells for both you and your pooch to explore. Proceeds benefit the Arizona Humane Society.
